Best Paper for Photographs?

Up until now, I have been only sending either index cards for artists, or cards for athletes. Now I want to print pictures to have it signed for my favorite celebrities. My problem is what kind of paper would you recommend. I have a matte paper with 146 gsm. Is the paper thickness good? Or how thick should the paper be? Thank you
