i had a friend of mine say that bruno sammartino stop signing and the only way to see him is at autograph shows. ive heard from my friend that he stopped signing like bob backlund did a while back because people were selling his autographs to make money online. has anyone else heard about this and do you think that there is any truth to what my friend told me. he travels to alot of wrestling conventions and different shows and he told me this recently.

I think someone on this site and one on Sportscollectors got a success from Bruno.

There was a time, around the WWE induction, where he had stopped signing. I think an agent got in his ear with the ebay bug or something. But I think it may be over. Even though it's different than the Baseball or Football hall of fame, a lot of those inductees will stop signing or go to a fee after they've been selected because they sign contracts with agents or feel that they are being taken advantage of by fans.

I got stuff back from Bruno over the summer and he was super fast and nice. Backlund I've had a horrible experience with. He refuses to sign for me but signed for so many others. I tried him one more time in August and he didn't even send my stuff back.

I had success from both Bruno and Backlund back in August. I don't know if it made a difference or not but I sent them both custom 4x6 photos instead of trading cards or 8x10's.

I just had a Bruno success 2 weeks ago so I'm sure it's safe to say he is still signing TTM now.
