Went to an indy show that was supposed to feature Jerry Lawler and Big Daddy V this evening.

For those wondering.. Big Daddy V was my drawing card as I've never gotten him. Anyways, I got Lawler on three photos. FYI, I've pretty much gotten most anything I'd want signed by Lawler over the years.

Had the chance to get a post-match photo op with him in full ring gear (would've liked that), but due to a comedy of errors that opportunity walked away.....

Here's the scans of what I got signed...

He actually liked one of the photos I took so much that he wanted to keep it, so I told him that was fine.

I bought one of his photos (the one with the three belts) and got him to sign the copy of the "City of Memphis" magazine cover I had printed out and the XFL promo I took. Lawler got a kick out of that one and showed it to his girlfriend.

I think both have quit signing or are cherry-picking what they do sign.

It's exactly what I told would happen once their addresses became passed around and public knowledge.

When you get three or four letters a week, it's manageable to sign, but when all 150 posters from this thread mail you in a week, it's over.

They'll sign the first batch nicely and think it was a fluke, but then, they'll get wise to the whole deal, especially when they keep seeing the same return addresses over and over.

Nice get on Lawler. That signature looks great. What kind of marker is that? Do you know why Big Daddy V did not show up?

Eve Torres posted her own fanmail address on her website so I'm sure she'll return the requests she's been sent when she has time. I think she returns them every 3-4 months.

Lawler used - by and large - the old Marks-A-Lot brand. First time I'd seen one of those in years. I remember they gave off a horrible odor when you'd write with them at school.

I'll take cubsfan word for it on Kelly and Eve, but Eve also has the address still listed on her website so I'm holding out hope she will respond in the future. As for Kelly if I was to say she is still signing but it is taking longer, the reason would be because she doesn't spend as much time in Jacksonville as she used to possibly?

Either way, I sent to both of them for the first time at the end of March.

I had to look in my log book when I sent lol couldn't remember off the top of my head. I sent Eve on the 2nd of April so it's been over a month and I sent to Kelly Kelly sometime in March don't have the official date lol so it's been 2 months give or take some. One's I still have out are.
Eve Torres - sent April 2nd
Kelly Kelly - sent sometime in March
Kurt Angle - sent around the same time as Kelly Kelly's was - I have an ip but wanted a few cards signed
Mickie James - sent around the same time - all from March were sent around the same time of the month I want to say
Jeff & Karen Jarrett - since in March also - sent both at the same time together just wanted to test and see if it would work sending to a husband and wife duo
Chief Jay Strongbow - sent April 2nd - yes this one I know sadly is lost
Dixie Carter - sent April 2nd
Ricky Steamboat - since April 20th - I sent 3 out on this day only one that hasn't come back yet
Arn Anderson - need to check the date on this one but I remember sending it out
Micheal Cole - this was just got sent out a few weeks ago

I think thats all I have in the mail. I may have some WAY older ones but don't have them in my log book lol.
