It is only illegal when you don't post it, since you created the account and added posts technically it is not against your will. just delete all of your profile info and do not come back- thats how you quit a message board!

You technically volunteered your information when you entered it. If you delete anything in your profile then log out, the only thing remaining will be your posts.
