It sounds like it might be your Appendix. It could also be a hernia. Did you do any heavy lifting the day before it started? It could also be a kidney stone. All of these are easy to treat so don't get to worried.

Daniel,no I didn't do any heavy lifting...at least I don't think that I did. I just woke up with it.Some people have told me that it could be a kidney stone too.The pain has got better today.I am going to go to the doctor this week and have it checked out.
