Daniel Radcliffe via Equus "non SASE" requests

Hi everyone,

If I'm not mistaken, all successes from Daniel Radcliffe via Equus were with SASEs. Now the question is - do you think he signed the other requests (with IRCs or in my case cash USD) as well and will send them via his agency after he's finished with Equus? I would certainly love to hope so...

First of all thanks for starting this topic.

I have the same problem.I'm from Hungary so we don't have US stamps.I sent 1 IRC with 1 dvd and 1 vhs cover to him to sign.I hope he will send them back after he finished in New York.I don't think (I hope) they don't throw our stuffs away.

I know a lot of people who sent him two - three requests, and nothing has come back yet, and when I asked them it showed up they sent only SAE and IRC, no SASE....so I'm definitely convinced he doesn't reply to letters without SASE, but I'm not very possitive he ever will...I'm afraid they'll just throw all of these requests away

You think so? I hope that at least ppl that sent cash (I don't imagine there is many of them though) and IRC's will get something. I can understand when they don't bother with people that only send SAE or LOR... but c'mon, we wanted to pay for the postage too!

Since it's a theatre, and with this horrid economy taking a ginormous toll on this industry alone, I honestly do not know what to expect. Equus really isn't packing the houses (Like Katie Holmes & Crew did at All My Sons!) and of course he has no obligation to sign...so I'm sorry to put down your hopes but I just don't think you'll get a reply if you just sent a letter with a IRC/money (and/or a SAE). And he is... Daniel Radcliff he himself really cannot just walk into a NYC postoffice down the street ;).

If you sent something on the other hand, it's possible that it will get signed at a latter date. The Broadhurst is extremely tight so I'm not sure where he'd leave all this fanmail, but perhaps his PA or someone has shipped it back over to London for him to sign, or to sort out and give PPs with your items back.

but you do know that the address has getting spammed!and he has wrote back to manyyy!and he just cant go out and pay stamps ;) he is a A-list celebrity! + he dont have to answer at all so we should be glad he has but to people who are thinking of writing him know:haha dont do that,it takes about 2-3 months for him to replied from Equus sure sometimes fast replytime but still..

I think it IS in fact a problem for Dan to go and buy stamps . But that doesn't mean there can't be someone else to do this job in the theatre....

I'm sure he's swamped with mail and doing the best that he can. We've all seen the successes on here, so he is signing. Imagine all the mail that he's getting from people that aren't members of fanmail. Like any star he has no obligation to sign for any of us.

yes great said!i have always thinked that way,that we on the forums will never know how many looks here that are not members and send fanmails to celebs...you have no idea how many knows this site i must say!
