How many IRC's should I send a celebrity from the UK to USA?

I was just wondering because people I know said just send one but then some people on here have been saying 2 or 3.

It depends on the size of the SAE. Generally, if it's smaller than 8x6", you can send only 1 IRC. Anything bigger, then you would need 2-3 IRC's (3 IRC's for an 8x10" sized envelope). {thumb2}

Yes, 1 IRC should cover the costs for a C5 envelopes (A5 sized). {thumb2} I always use just 1 IRC with my C5 SAE and it worked every time.

IRC's are the same worldwide:
1 IRC = standard letter
2-3 IRC's = envelopes bigger than 8x6"

So it depends on what size SAE (Self Addressed Envelope) you're planning to send. {thumb2} You don't have to send one, but it can increase your chance of getting a reply. The best would be to search the feedback received for the person you're planning to send to and then decide what you want to send.

In the past I would send 1-2 IRCs to USA/UK using a large envelope (the standard oversized ones), and always got by with that. Really I think it depends, like Zanne stated.

I have several 72p stamps. Would they work for SASEs from the UK to the US. I normally only send 1 or 2 sports cards and have them returned in a 4x6 envelope.
