It certainly was a mammoth success, but I must admit it leaves a very bad taste in my mouth. Certainly a piece of historical importance, but something I feel which needs to be donated to a proper historical archive. I would never auction something like that unless it was in order to raise funds to benefit the "monster's" victims.
I just feel that selling it for personal gain would be like disrespecting the victims of his terrible crimes all over again.
Just my own thoughts though of course
