Need help on a simple question!

Post by Blackmyeyes254 »

I was curious if you put your autographs in something like this:

http://www.amazon.com/Ultra-Pro-10-Soft ... ro+sleeves

And then put them in a binder, if that would be good protection? I looked on the other threads here a little, but still wasn't sure. They say these are:

Clear Polypropylene
Acid Free - No PVC

And great for photos, but would they be good for the marker on autographs too?

Or would something completely closed off like these magazine/comic bags be better, since nothing can get in?

Thanks!

I use the pages and put em in my binder. I've had some in there for years and they still look perfect.

Thanks for your reply!

I heard doing it that way - the protective sleeves in a binder - is actually better for them than framing them. Is that correct, do you think (as long as you use Ultra Pro sleeves or something else acid free)? I know it certainly is less expensive.

Thanks again for your reply!

Sorry for the late reply, but it's probably better because when you frame and display them, the sun usually comes in and hits them which will fade a marker over time.
