It looks real to me. You can see on the last letter there is a dot of ink where the marker ended before she lifted it off the photo. She must be writing very slowly now.

I've had the pleasure of meeting her twice in Metropolis now at the Superman celebration, and I've also gotten her TTM. She doesn't use a stamp, secretary, or autopen. She is getting older, and her health hasn't been the same since she broke her hip. Definitely signing slower - but make no mistake - that's Noel's signature. She's awesome to fans, always stopping to sign and take photos - enjoy your success.

Looks great! Definitely real. I used to see her at comic book conventions I was attending all the time, but it was before I became an autograph collector. And I never bothered to get her autograph. Really regretting it now!

She lives in a retirement home here in Tucson, now. Not too far from where I live. One of my co-workers moved his grandfather in the same place, and he ended up being Ms. Neil's neighbor.

She's moved about quite a bit. For a while she lived at

as well as

But she moved from there to actually live in Metropolis, IL about two years ago, to be in the same area as Larry Thomas Ward, her friend and representative.

To my knowledge, she still lives in Metropolis currently, and signed for me there less than a month ago via the Massac address.

June 6, 2012: Noel Neill Comes Home to Metropolis, IL

Noel Neill's biographer and good friend Larry Ward reports that "The First Lady of Metropolis" has returned to the Metropolis, IL area permanently, having recently relocated from her home in Tucson, Arizona.

In his 2003 biography on the "Adventures of Superman" actress, Ward wrote that while Noel had lived in California most of her adulthood, Metropolis, IL was her true second home.

However, due to health reasons including a devestating fall at her home which resulted in a fractured hip, Noel's last public appearance in Metropolis was at the 2010 dedication of the Noel Neill/Lois Lane statue at the corner of Eighth and Market Streets.

Noel's days of touring for weeks on end are essentially over, as such activity is now impossible.

Noel's last public appearance was at a comic book show in Tucson in May, 2011 and her last outing was at a gathering at a private function held in her honor with friends on June 30th of last year, also in Tucson.

At this time, Noel's life is one of comfort and leisure. She continues to enjoy watching television - including old episodes of "The Adventures of Superman" - reading fan mail and offering witty conversation with her new neighbors.

At the age of 91, Noel is finally retired with no plans to make any future public appearances.
