How to send an autograph request from US to UK ... and receive it back?

I hope somebody can help me. My son and I are hoping to obtain autographs from some actors who are in the UK. We are in the US. We know how to send the pictures/letters there, but aren't sure what to include (money for postage, etc) for the pictures to be returned to us. What is the protocol for this to ensure that we receive the photos back in the US? Please help.
