Okay, so...what's the best way to address someone? I'll use Tom Cruise as an example.

Dear Tom
Dear Tom Cruise
Dear Mr. Tom Cruise
Dear Mr. Cruise
Or...something else?

Because if I want to write to Sean Bean, I don't want to start off writing with "Dear Mr. Bean" If you...get my point!
