do people believe yu?

as someone who holds autographs and autograph collecting close to them,do the people around you believe you? that wat yu have is the autograph?
in my case, i feel like i have to defend myself from such things. people say "yeah right" and "it cant be really real" to me all the time, its frustrating.

anyone face this?

yea... and other people also feel they have better things to do than writing letters, yet they envy about what you've got!
I have just started my collection, but still A NUMBER of people have been saying what I'm doing is pointless
I don't care about what people say though!

That happens to me a lot, too. My neighbor is, lets say,is very very clueless. And she thinks that my autographs arent real, saying that I sign them and not the celebrity. And yes, lots of people I know occasionally tell me stuff such as "Oh sure" or "Sure they are". It really cheeses me off. I usaully just ignore them,though. Once, I had a friend who didn`t believe that I had an autograph from her favorite band(Trivium). When I showed her, she still didn` t believe me, so she asked my mum. My mum doesnt keep track of my replies, so she had no idea what my friend was talking about. Eeeek. I`ve been thinking that I should just collect In Person autographs for a while. My point is that most people don`t believe me. That`s all I have to say. Thanks.

everyone so far believes me but they think autograph collecting is a waste of time. they also say autograph collecting is for kids not people my age. i'm 21 so they say i am way too old for this.

My friends believe me, and when I get a good one, they're like "OMG OMG OMG" and then they get jealous. XD

In May, I went to a Red Jumpsuit Apparatus gig. They started off saying that it was well unfair that I got to go, and I was like "yeah, your parents have paid for you to go to Wales on that day " and then they got jealous that me, my sister and her friends met the whole band.

I went to school the next day like "heh, gutted" then fell asleep in French LMAO

My friends think it's pretty cool, and have been there when I've sent requests out at the post office, so they know what I do is for real.
The worst person for making fun of me is my boss! She's a nightmare! If I ask for time off to go to signings and conventions, she makes fun of me for weeks beforehand, then when I've been, she asks to see the photo's and autographs I get, and procceeds to make fun of me a little bit more over them! She says things like "Oh have you been to Madame Tussauds again and posed with the wax works?"
She believes I've met famous people really but she s teasing me

Best thing you can do is have someone take a photo of you with the celeb when you meet them in-person!! {thumb2} you can't got wrong with several differents shots of you with your favorite Actor/Actress.

I bet you boss is actually REALLY jealous of you for getting sigantures and meeting celebs, but doesn't want to let on 'cause then what would she be able to razz you about??? LOL!
