This will help stop them being abused by people who aren't fans. If they dont see the word "email" in the title its highly likely they wont even look in the thread.

I would agree however more and more members are not posting the email address used. So me personally before clicking on the post I would rather see that so I know not to bother.

Re: Ban the phrase "email success" from feedback thread titles
I definitely agree that this is becoming quite a problem!!
I'm not exactly sure what would be the best way to fix it (ie. not saying "email success" or not listing the email address, etc.)
It definitely needs to be addressed tho, and when a decision is made, is there a way to possibly PM all members with the new rule OR make some sort of flashy sticky so that everyone is on the same page!
It seems that some members believe posting an email address is against the rules, while some do not. It causes alot of arguments and causes topics to, unfortunately, get locked prematurely.

Yes, I would like to know if a rule like that is made. Are you allowed to post emails or not?

Re: Ban the phrase "email success" from feedback thread titles
This is a hard topic.
Why, because a lot of actors have E-mail addresses that they dont mind being used.
If you where to go on a celebs website, and they themselfs give an address where they can recieve messages, or you can ask them for an autograph, would it be wrong to post it here?
often if it's a TV host, the station would give you it's website address to contact them.
Whats next? Dont give the theatre address of where an actors playing?
Where can we draw the line, and YET still enjoy writing to these celebs.

I agree, I dont think the word "email" needs to be in the thread title. If someone is not interested, they will not look in the topic, therefore preventing emails from getting bombarded with "fan" mail and shut down.

Thats a great reply, I would just say "success" or not, but I'm sure that the celebs who have there own websites, should know that they are going to be popular and if there's a e-mail address, they should know that it will be swamped, I have seen dozen's of celeb websites, with e-mail addersses, and these are the ones appoved by the celebs themself?
It would be better, not to have them there, then some celeb bellyacheing about having to many e-mails, when he first appoved of it.
I for my part, will not give out any e-mail addresses that I may have or come across, just so that no rules are broken.
I say, this but I do like to help out if I can. Whats the answer?
