Hello everyone, I just want to ask, Benedict Cumberbatch will attend the National Theatre 50th anniversary activity, but I don't know about the activities will last long, it is a grand event, do you think it will be a successful VV address? Thank you for your any reply. :) http://50.nationaltheatre.org.uk/

I think it won't be in theatre but just on screen of cinemas. In Russia we'll be able to watch it from 31 oct in our cinemas, too.

I think what she means is the Anniversary Event.

From the Website:
Special Preview performance of 50 years on stage
Fri 1 November

A limited number of tickets are available for the special live preview of this landmark event.

A cast of 100 will perform live on stage, including Roger Allam, Simon Russell Beale, Benedict Cumberbatch, Frances de la Tour, Judi Dench, Christopher Eccleston, Ralph Fiennes, Michael Gambon, Derek Jacobi, Alex Jennings, Rory Kinnear, Adrian Lester, Anna Maxwell Martin, Helen Mirren, Andrew Scott, Maggie Smith and Penelope Wilton,
with more to be announced.

Tickets are £500 and £300. Find out more and book.

Ticket purchases support the work of the National Theatre.

Please note that this performance will also act as a camera rehearsal for the broadcast.
As it's only one night, I don't think sending in anything would be worth it?

I don't know it might be worth a shot. A lot of people send to concerts and such that is just for one night and get responses. You never know if you send you might one of the only ones and get a great response.
