e-mail request help

Hey guys, I'm new here. I've been doing some TTM requests. I was wondering if anyone could explain to me the e-mail request ettiquite. Or post an example e-mail request. Thank you very much.

Basically I just write what I would put in a letter and finish off with:

if it would be possible for me to have their autograph, please could you send it to (insert your address here)
