I'm a huge fan of a duo that performs in my area and the lead singer Des Dyer used to be lead singer and drummer in the band Jigsaw who were big in the 70s. Well last night, I was at one of his gigs and my work collegue mentioned to him that I'm a singer, so he invited me up to sing with him!!!!
We duetted on Mercy by Duffy and it was awesome!!! We'd never sung together before but we gelled and he's invited me to sing with him regularly!! I'll get a video or at least some photo's next time but as it was impromptu last night, I didn't have my camera
Sorry I am late coming in on this conversation - but wow that is so lucky you sang with Des Dyer! Sounds like he is a very down-to-earth man (but then I have hard the same said for the rest of the Jigsaw members). I'm happy he still sings. I live in the USA and wish he would come over here but it looks like the only way I'd ever get to hear him sing is to go to the UK. I love his voice very much, he is very talented.
He rocks out my world That thermal energy inside me swirled Detonating every cell hurled

You are about five years late. If the thread is more the 3-4 months old, please don't comment.
Because you are bumping a very old thread and then it ends up getting locked.
