Where do you live?
I thought we could make a thread about our hometowns. Not states or countires, but hometowns. You can post information, pictures, or just the name of your town. I love to learn about where people are from!
I live in a town called Orange. It's in Massachusetts, which is in the United States. Here's a few pictures.
This is a welcome sign for our town. It's not there anymore, but I thought I'd share it. I live kind of near that area.
Here's the center of town.
This is a bridge in the center of the town (it's over a river). It's been renovated now.
Our town is called Jumptown for it's parachuting. This is a parachuter in Orange.
Here's Lake Mattawa. I live less than a half mile away from it. It's very pretty in the summer, and in the winter the ice on it shines and sparkles (kind of weird to explain).
Another view of the lake. This is on the road I live on.
This is the band stand. Local concerts are held, and there's been a celebrity or two here, but not many. And they're never very big.
So, post pictures, information, etc. about your town here. You don't have to share if you feel it's an invasion of privacy though. Don't share pictures of you, either.

Re: Where do you live?
Ahwwwww..... I wish I had such a beautiful lake that close to my home {love}
The landscape looks great {thumb2}
I live in a small village (about 2200 inhabitants) , much too small to find it on wikipedia.org But it is next to a bigger town called "Gießen" which is big enough to appear on wikipedia.org
Well, I can't astonish with such great pictures but here you can see a section of our village center:
1) Our very very small village church being in renovation works.
2) Our small village hall.
3) And we even have a our own small fire department
But I absolutely love our village, it's so gentle and quiet here...
Best wishes,
matze16

Cool thread.
I'd love to live where you do, Kelsey.
What a cool town, and beautiful landscape.
Matze16, to me 2,200 people is a big town!
Where I live in central Illinois, in the U.S.A there are about 300 people.
And I love living here. We combine with another town of about 450 for our school. The high school (5-12th) is in my town. Then in the other nearby town is the grade school.
I's surprised we still have a school though, I mean at one time only 10 kids were in my class. But, we have a great volleyball and basketball team. And we still get a great education.
Here everyone is a farmer. I mean that's all people do here, farm.
But, it's a nice small town feel here, and I really love it. {thumb2}

Here's some info on my town of Hillsdale, MI. There's even a shout-out to our flea market where every satuday I have a friend there that sells lots of Autographed Items! Enioy! Also makes mention of our mayor Michael S. Sessions who I got TTM a couple of years ago. {thumb2}

Re: Where do you live?
Thanks for the comments on where I live! Honestly, I don't think that it's that great. But, I guess if you live anywhere your whole life you think that. I chose the best pictures, too, the whole town isn't that great.
Hannah, that fourth photo of your town is beautiful! I'd love to live there!
