Sorry

Post by Seargent Meerkat »

Ok guys, back off a bit!

I wasn't aware of that and I apologise.

I just find it extremly hard to get any sort of TTM response from America (living in England).

What is this about, may I ask?

No problem. I don't understand why that particular person had to be rude about it. But the topic has been locked and the rude post has been deleted.

I live in the UK also. You do get responses, you just have to give it time. How long has it been since you sent out requests? They can take a year or more to get back to you so you just have to be patient. Also you have to make sure you help out with postage, I don't know if you're aware of this but you will need to send out either a SASE, or a SAE with IRC's or some money to give you the best chance at getting a response.
No one was having a go at you, we were just letting you know the rules of this site.

I usually sent out an IRC or two and a letter and sase, I also usually include my own pics for them to sign. I've sent to many different people numerous times, the last being Stan Lee in June.

No, Karra28, its ok, I just took it the wrong way.

Where you live doesn't really effect whether or not you get a response. It only mainly effects how long you wait. For your request to get there & for the responses to get back. There are plenty of members here from different parts of the world who has had some amazing feedbacks and collection :)

Thanks:) kinda worried you did not..but good we settled this! as for you living in England,i live in Sweden and sure it will get "harder" getting success from USA by ttm(difficult to get usa stamps, some celebs only answer to USA persons)but it is a matter of time when you live around the world from the person you write..so just have patience :)
