Does anybody know whether the Esprit Arna in Düsseldorf passes on fanmail? I'd love writing to Coldplay!
Unfortunately they don't pass on fanmail there. Are you German? Cos this is what they replied in an e-mail a few mins ago:

Some venues/arenas pass on fanmail to bands/singers/actors when you send a letter to them. If a venue doesn't pass on fanmail you don't even need to try and write anything as the celeb won't get it anyway.

Yep Well, not really "to sign" - it's still up to the celebs what they are gonna do with the envelope/letter/request...

Sent them a mail yesterday and this was their reply:
Thank you for your email. We do not usually pass on fan mail to the acts performing at the BIC as most of them arrive with their own security guards and only senior management are allowed backstage. If you wanted to give anything in to reception we will do our best to get it backstage but there are no guarantees.
You may be better off sending things to the promoter of the event who tour with the act. If you let me know which artist you are thinking of I can let you know who the promoter is for that show.
