i couldn't have said it better. They actually still make PVC Sleeves? I thought they went out with the dinosaurs. LOL . jennyblue, I also get my sleeves from staples. I always look for archival safe, no pvc. As far as putting them in frames I have maybe 200 or so in frames with acid free backing and UV PROTECTED GLASS which you can special order from any frame/ matting/picture shop.
this is probably a stupid question but what brand do you use. i have the avery poly vu.

And I understand your point R.S.V.P. I know i am in college and money for me is pretty tight but i did not know that about photos.
JennyBlue, you could try Ultra Pro. I personally find that brand very reliable and many sports collecting specialists also use it.

Dear Jennyblue,

I'm using an old German brand (KOBRA) that has proven to be the best for me. Maybe some collector from the US can tell you more about US brands.

Best,
Stephan

yeah if i spent money on one or it meant a lot to me i would put some care into it :P no cheapo wilkinsons stuff. the only one ive got thats worth anything came to me framed, so no idea if the glass is any good. it better be as its huge so i wouldnt get it reframed, would cost a ton.

I store my autographs in a converted shoe box, some in an album, and two (Gordon Ramsay and Tim Henman) on my wall in frames.

My football posters are also on my wall as that is where they were before they were signed :)

I Keep 6 Of My Autographs Framed On My Bedroom Wall (The O.C. Cast [Adam Brody, Mischa Barton, Ben McKenzie & Rachel Bilson], Carmen Electra, Vin Diesel [Yeah I Know His Autograph Is Probally Secreterial, But I Like The Photo Of Him], Dakota Fanning, One Tree Hill Cast , Brittany Murphy) & Another 4 Framed In My Extention (Brett Lee, Shane Warne & 2 Glen McGrath's)

And The Rest Are Storred In Special Acid Free Backed Binders, That Were Recommended To Me By My Uncles Friend, Who Is A Major Autograph Collector (He Has More Than 1750+ In His Collection)

I store my 8x10s in ultra pro 8x10 archival sleeves you can get off ebay. My framed pictures are matted because you don't want the auto to stick to the glass. Yeah it's technical and complicated but it's worth it 10+ years from now.

I store them in clear plastic pockets and place them in a folder.. besides putting them in frames costs too much .. you might not have enough space in the end (just think, having your whole room COVERED in pictures lol) and also they can fade with sunlight going on them! Well that's what I think.. hope it helped.
