All I can Say is WOW. :o I can't beleive he got DUI again! Come on Shia! Get your Act together! :mad: Maybe this crash will teach him a lesson due to smashing his hand. I wonder if this will put a damper on any future TTM Autographs. Does anyone know if he signed with his right or left???

update on Shia...according to his spokesperson he should return to filming in a month. i would say that would not be any action work unless Bay writes his injury into the film somehow then filming would probably begin in a month. Hopefully Shia will have to take a pay cut for his idiot move over the weekend but I don't know how that will affect his career. I would like to see him do a public service announcement about drinking and driving before all of his films now.

Filming update: TF:RotF was filming in San Pedro, CA over the weekend. But not much to report besides that. According to the blog I read and the pictures it appears to be a "Shanghi" set much like the Bethlehem (PA) Steel shoot.

Expect a lot of new Transformers in this film for sure!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Woo Hoo!! I made an accurate prediction. Shia's injury will be scripted into TF:RotF. I would think he will be in rehab for his hand for awhile so thats why Bay scripted it in. Bay said Shia had been drinking earlier in the day and was NOT drunk when the accident happened. Police said the driver of the other vehicle was at fault for running a red light. Shia is still in the hospital.

Hi, I read recently read that this movie will start shooting in New Mexico in August, I know there is a movie currently filming here but I don't think its transformers.

TF:RotF is currently shooting in Alamogardo NM.

I have Megan's publicist's name and address and that would probably be the best bet...I will PM you the addy if you would like.


Shia may have to have his left pinky finger amputated. This is due to the July 27th accident he had. Bay has said "that two of his [Shia's] fingers were crushed". Shia had to have emergency reconstructive surgery upon arrival at the hospital. One can only speculate why the amputation MAY need to take place. Apparently the surgery did not work for his pinky.
Remember: this story is being reported by Star and has not been confirmed through anyone from camp Shia or Bay. A person on set (TF:RotF) has reportedly leaked this information to Star magazine. Take it for what you want.

"completely fabricated story," LaBeouf publicist Melissa Kates tells E! News about the amputation rumor.

So now it looks like Shia will keep all ten digets!!! Can someone explain how Shia is being charged with a misdimenour (?) DUI but the cops are saying he was not at fault in the accident. I don't know anything about california law (or law at all for that matter, regardless of state) but it just does not make sense. I thought it would be like a no insurance accident...2 cars collide it was clearly the insured drivers fault but since driver 2 did not have insurance it becomes his fault.
