I keep them if they're written by the celebrity or if they're "special" eg Jim Davis sent my autograph in a Garfield envelope. Otherwise, I just throw them away.

I only have a dozen or so autographs though I will continue to keep the envelopes. I don't know why though I enjoy it. Even when the photos are no longer being stored in them, I'll just write the celebrities name on it and store it away. It just seems to help complete my collection, even if people don't care about seeing the envelopes.

I throw all the envelopes out (though they do lie around for a while until I get around to it ) I do like stamps from other countries though but I just cut the stamps out rather than keeping the whole envelope since I don't really have the room to keep the envelopes.

I keep the envelopes because I collect for charity, and to be honest I think that I would probably keep the envelopes if I was collecting for myself too :P Just because that proves that I sent away for them and that I didn't just buy them.

I only keep the envelope if has their return address on it.

The autographed photos go right into frames. I am mainly into B & W photos, and like to have one wall with frame after frame of autographed photos. It looks pretty cool so far. Now, it seems, I always look to see who might be in my area, and I started carrying photos of those people in my messenger bag. You never know. Debbie Reynolds will be here in a couple weeks, but I am not going to her show. But you can bet I will be at the venue earlier in the day with the hopes I can have her sign. :)

I don't keep the envelopes. In the UK, envelopes don't often get return addresses written on them, unless they're from a business or something. If I send to the US I might, since they'll probably get the address on them and maybe a cool stamp or something :) So far the ones I have gotten from inside the UK haven't had a very clear postmark on them, but if they come back with it particularily clear then I might cut out that corner and keep it with the photo.

Here's the photos that I mentioned earlier on page 1:

Each envelope is placed in it's correct folder by last name. for example, Kay Panabaker would go under folder "P".

for the 8x10 and larger envelopes's, I just keep those in big blue "Roughneck" Tote.
