Quick Question about Ice Shows

Post by mkainsworth »

Hi everyone I just had an idea to get a few of my favourite figure skaters autographs on my pictures.

I will be going to the Stars on Ice show in Toronto, ON and I wanted to know who I should give my envelopes to so they get to the skaters. The show is at the Air Canada Center. Thanks :D

Hi Melissa,

As far as I know the Air Canada Center does not pass on fanmail, but I'm not too sure how you would go about doing this!!

Sorry I can't be of more help right now, but if I find any useful information, I'll definitely pass it on to you!

Maybe you could try to get the cast whose autographs you want in person.

I do not know where this venue is excactly, but you can probably get a chance to meet them at some stage.

Good Luck anyway,

It is really hard to meet the skaters at ice shows, they are on a tight schedule, not to mention that the security around them is tighter than fort knox. It is worse than A-lister celebs.

I thought of going to the place in the area where it is blocked off because the skaters are there and asking a security person if they could give my 2 envelopes to the two people I want to get autographs from.

I went to a skating show a while back and after the show there was a "meet and greet" for those who had special kinds of tickets (ie probably paid plenty extra :P )

You might contact the center and see if they are doing anything like that and if they are you might be able to MEET your favorite skaters. {up}

Good Luck! {up}

sorry i dont really have any great advice.

i got autographs once by talking to the people in charge of a bands merchandise. they gave us a tip about waiting out in back of the arena and try to catch them before they leave on their tour bus. it worked!

not sure that will work in your case but i wish you luck
