Death in Paradise, Beyond Paradise

Post by Oviedo »

Hi,
On Sept 8, 2023, I sent an email to info@redplanetpictures.co.uk asking for autographs from the cast of Death in Paradise.
On January 8, 2024, I got an email back informing me that I would get some soon.
This is what I got today:

By the way, I am actually surprised that just one 1st class stamp was enough for sending the letter abroad. I thought international postage was at least £2.20 and a 1st class stamp was just worth £1.25. So I would have thought two were required. What did I miss?

Which country do you live in? USA is only £2, while France is £2.20. Not sure how they worked that out! Northern Ireland is standard UK rate if you live there.

Nice response btw. I got a couple from there about a year ago but was sceptical about them being secretarial. Both of mine were individual members in different pen and with different photo paper brands so there is a good chance they're real. Those multi-signed pictures look a bit too good to be true but I hope they are. :)

I live in Germany, so the postage should be similar to the one for France, right?

I know what you mean. Since I did not pay anything for the autograph cards, I don't want to complain even if they were secretarial.
But look at that:

so we might even be lucky to have "real" successes.

Yes, Germany should have been £2.20. Must have just slipped through the system without the postage being checked.

Ah, I hadn't seen that video. Looks like they could be real then.
