Nicki Minaj & American Idol - IP Success

While I couldn't care less about American Idol and hence, its judges, have never heard about Nicki Minaj before and also fail to see why one would get his/her hand signed

& yet you are leaving your commentary on a post about her...? Interesting. Like I said. This is not an event for autographs or meet & greets! I just happened to run into her with her Maybach while exiting Royce Hall. What do you expect me to do? Run into my apartment to get a pen & paper? You get what you can get when things like this hits you! Therefore I find it pointless that you would question why one would get one's body signed in this given situation! LMFAO!

Have you read my post at all??????????????????? Especially the part that came after this?????????????? I was saying that while I am into diffewrent stuff the most important part was that you enjoyed this and it made you happy!!!!!!!!!! ....and I get bashed for it?????

I'm guessing you haven't read my post about how I could care less about how you fail to see the point in getting one's hand signed. Unless I am attending a autograph signing and I rejected a sign photo to get my hand signed - that's different!

I have tried to raise my voice in your defense saying that just because someone doesn't share your interests and preferences doesn't necessarily mean that there is anything wrong with it and I thought that expressing the fact that I do not share them either would add some emphasis.

You were replying to the first part of my post only, thus making it sound and look as if I have criticized you heavily, which I haven't done at all! Your reply also sounded as if all I had done was making you look like an idiot.

If you think I have misinterpreted your post in any way, let me know, because I'd really like to know. I have no mproblem admitting I am wrong, but even after reading everything again, I don't see whjat you mean....

I hate to think that you found my responses to your commentary as negative; however, I am annoyed by the fact that some users are only concerned about what I got signed and not how I got to meet the judges. The whole point of me posting my feedback is so you guys can be aware that there is an event like this going on right now. & again, I like to make it very clear that what I got signed isn't as concerning to me as to how I got it, and how I made the most of meeting these singers.

I do agree with you that I would have preferred to get something of permanence signed instead, but getting to meet Nicki just wasn't originally in my agenda that day.

Whenever I go to an event no matter if it's a concert, book signing, cd signing, etc. I ALWAYS bring a picture and Sharpie with me. Even if at the event they say no meet and greet I still don't believe anyone!

1. I was going to Rob Schidenre's stand up show and of course I brought a picture and sharpie with me. He happend to be staying at the same hotel as me. Not just the same hotel but the hotel room right NEXT to me! So I got my picture signed on the way to his show. We actually walked to the show together and chatted for awhile. We took the elevator down to the lobby and he met security there.

2. I've been to book signings and I've been told to throw away my pictures because they won't sign them. I DON'T believe anything event staff say. But in the end I get my book and picture signed.

3. I've been to concerts and the artist will walk around and sing and I get my picture signed then.

I can not stress enough to you to bring a picture and sharpie to EVERY celebrity event you go to!! You never know what might happen!
