Oh, okay. I didn't understand the point of your "LOL." You're correct about the matte. So it's technically not a matte, it's just a background. However, since the poster was a joke and I didn't expect to get it signed, and the back of the poster frame is actually cardboard, it's not matted. Maybe I should go get a custom matte for it even though the poster itself cost approximately $3 US/CDN (the price of the posterboard and the marker) and the matte/frame will cost I have no idea how much but a disgusting amount? Though walking up to my on-and-off-favorite singer/celebrity crush and announcing to him that he's my birthday present is absolutely priceless.dancingirl1 wrote:But a matte isn't made of paper...That's what you don't understand.downtoearth wrote:I made a matte for my poster out of silver paper, then stuck both things in a poster frame.

Do you MATTE them though? Because of you DON'T, over time they will not look the same as they did 7-10 years later..EmmaSheree wrote:I use Picture frames
Well being that I already told you it DAMAGES the photo and the autograph why are you still fighting with me like you don't believe me! It damages the autograph because it's not suppose to touch the glass. That's what a MATTE is for: it's a little thick and keeps from touching the glass. This is easy to comprehend. Either you wanna keep your favorites looking good or you ya don't.swiftndbieber wrote:In what ways does not matteing the photo frames affect the autographs? I am just curious as to what ways they are damaged like does the ink come off? I was debating whether to matte a few of my favourites as I can't do them all as they are all in different kinds of frames and it would take forever
God I'm not fighting you i know you said it damages them I was just wondering in what way it does damage them like does it get stuck to the glass and come off or does it fade or what?dancingirl1 wrote:Well being that I already told you it DAMAGES the photo and the autograph why are you still fighting with me like you don't believe me!
