Joan Rivers Success
This one is from the fall, and I just got around to posting it. I sent an email to her agent via her website http://www.joan.co/ and received this in return a few weeks later. I'm not going to lie... I am not a fan of Joan, but I just got it because 1, it was free, and 2, it is some nice collection "fluff".

Re: Joan Rivers Success
What a disgusting reason to get her autograph. Weren't you a shame of yourself while you were writing her all the lie just to get her autograph? Some of you should stop writing to a celeb just because you see an easy success from someone.

Re: Joan Rivers Success
Um, all I said in the email was "could I please have Joan's autograph". I didn't lie at all whatsoever. I didn't even say I was a fan. And I had a grand total of about 16 autographs. Talk to the people that have 1,000+ autographs.Antidealers wrote:What a disgusting reason to get her autograph. Also, if Joan wants to spend her money on sending out autographs, more power to her. I don't think she gives a hoot about who gets her autograph and who doesn't either.

Good point. There is one guy on here RYAN-J that has a ridiculous 2000+ autographs and there is no way that he is a fan of all those celebrities that he has collected. Most of the time he just got a celebrity autograph because they were in the area and he wanted to add them to his growing collection. Or because he found out that a celebrity will sign a picture for him or will send him one through email. He is what is wrong with this hobby.Jack5555 wrote:Talk to the people that have 1,000+ autographs.

This is not cool at all. Ryan is one of the nicest members on this entire forum, and I don't appreciate you saying things about him that aren't true for whatever reason.jackofaces wrote:Good point. And hypocrite much? You openly admitted that you requested an autograph just to get it, and not because you were a fan. And yet you said those very people are what's wrong with the hobby?

And I don't write to every person who replies TTM, I only write to people who I admire, and being an aspiring performer myself, I admire a lot of people for different reasons.
So you really should get your facts straight before assuming something about someone you don't even know.

Re: Joan Rivers Success
I have nothing against the people with 1,000 autographs. I was merely pointing out that I was being bickered at for having 16 autographs, while others have more. If you are going to complain, you shouldn't complain at someone who hardly has anything. Does that make sense?forever_moonwalk wrote:This is not cool at all. More power to everyone with that many autographs. It is a thrill to collect them, and it is a very fun hobby. It would be awesome to have that many some day.
