Movie sets, etc..
Hey, I'm brand new to the autograph collecting game and I had some quick questions. What's the easiest way to finding out the address and locations of movie sets to send requests directly to the set. Also, living in the states how do I pay for return postage from say Canada or even overseas. I've heard about IRC's but when I called the post office they acted like I was crazy and they don't exist. Any help on these issues would be greatly appreciated.
Re: Movie sets, ect..
Hello lilturk30!
Just ask in the "Request a Via Venue address" forum! Type the name of the movie/performer/actor in the topic field and make sure to add the imdb.com address if you can (to make it easier for the mods to find an address). Within the next few days one of the mods will have an address for you so check back at your topic to see if you got an address. Good luck!
They don't sell them at all here in South Africa. IRC's are very difficult to get so I suggest that you buy or trade with other members on here for them. Otherwise you can try to buy stamps from say, Canada, online instead of sending IRC's. {thumb2} I, for examnple, trade movie postcards here to get IRC's and stamps to send to celebrities. Mabey you can start trading something nice too, like magazine posters!
Just visit the 'Autographs for sale/exchange" forum. Again, best of luck!
Hope this helps! Feel free to ask more!

Lizanne
