What do you think about these custom photos? (UPDATED!)

I was going to ask this in my first post, but what program did you use to design those in? And have you thought of perhaps putting a simple black border around them kinda like I do on mine? I think the border gives the cards a more 'complete' look to them, but yours looks good like that too.

I actually used GIMP, which is pretty much a generic but FREE version of photoshop. I've never really used Photoshop, but that's what I've heard. That's a good idea about the borders, too.

Photoshop is good for some graphic design, but for me personally, Adobe Illustrator would be the way to go, it's so much more advanced in text and graphic capabilities and you can create a lot more and arrange text and graphics way easier than photoshop.

I still think greeting card factory is what you should try, it's like illustrator, but a little simpler to use and much cheaper.

Yeah, but RYAN J. suggested a black border around it, so I put one on there and re-uploaded it.

I LOVE the Louis Sachar ones!! They look great with the images of his books atthe bottom! What a great idea! Very creative. I sent to him about 3 weeks ago.

I think they all look great and I think the Donald Duck one with the black border definitely looks better than the original one without the border .
