My Lockdown weekend...

I went up to Nashville a day earlier to check out some public locales. That proved fruitful..

I began last Friday by locating the lovely So Cal Val. She signed six photos for me and chatted for a while, even tweeted about us and invited us to the VIP Cocktail Party later that evening, which we crashed thanks to her.

Then, I collected my bearings as it was early morning and began the waiting game for about an hour.

A.J. Styles was next. He signed one promo for me and a copy of his PWI Top 500 cover.

Image

The next batch of located talent was Samoa Joe, Gail Kim and Matt Morgan.

Morgan signed three photos for me and even commented on a couple of the ones I took in person.

Image

Image

Gail was on the phone with her husband but she signed a pair of promos for me.

Samoa Joe inked three promos for me.

A big want was located next as Jeff Hardy arrived. He was to put it lightly a signing machine and in no hurry to get anywhere. Seemed to be doing well in his life. His wife and child were in tow.

Hardy signed a total of six photos (two that Matt had already signed) and was on his way. Also got a photo op with him so I could take it to Interaction on Saturday.

Image

A man showed up with a sign that read "T. Bollea".. Wonder who he was waiting for? lol.. Also around that time, an honest TNA employee, who will remain nameless, informed me that Sting was not going to be at Lockdown though the company never publicly acknowledged such or changed the point of purchase at its Shop site on Friday to reflect such.

So, anyways, my crew was almost in full riot mode at this point when I told them the bad news. Luckily, the Hulkster came quickly and lifted our spirits. He had some obligations to fill, see video on TNA's site, but signed one per person and took photos with anyone that asked. I opted for a new photo op since my old one with him was from about six years back and I've changed quite a bit for the good since then.

Image

Christy Hemme also came through at some point or another.. I got her on five photos..

The Olympic Gold Medalist showed up. He signed five photos for me.

Austin Aries appeared. A little kid approached him and asked if he could sign. Aries responded with "If you ask me properly."

Knowing how Austin is, I asked him if he "Could please sign" and he responded, "Well, since you asked me properly" and glared at the kid.

He signed the pics I had and the one I took at ROH, which he complimented.

Also caught ODB, Kaz (among the first to see his new shaved head), Robert Roode and Daniels before we left the locale to got to the VIP deal.

Image

Image

I had the Kaz yellow tights metal background promo, which wasn't released. I asked him if they ever told him why it wasn't put out to the masses. His response was that he didn't know why and doesn't know why the company does a lot of the stuff they do.

Image

Image

We crashed the VIP party with a friend that had actually bought the package. They wouldn't let us in at first until we told them that Val had tweeted and invited us, which she did and then we were let in like we belonged.

Kaz, Daniels, Samoa Joe, Magnus, Val and Chris Harris (didn't have anything on him) on there… Magnus and Joe ribbed me a little and Magnus also vandalized a promo he didn't like that I had an extra copy of.

Got a lot of those guys to sign what I'd brought on them there. Also talked the lady out of one of the posters that James Storm had already signed.

Went back to the hotel lobby and caught D-Von, Rob Terry and Mr. Anderson on their way in during the early morning hours.

When we arrived at Lockdown, we were greeted by a sign that told me we were getting a "signed" shirt. The shirt was unsigned and once again we were in riot mode. Pretty sure we scarred the temporary worker TNA had at RVD's line.

Anyways, didn't pay attention to the limits. I just dropped what I wanted on talents and none refused.

Some of the things here were courtesy of cmshowstoppa. Got a lot of great comments on your pics man and thanks for allowing me to borrow them.

Gail Kim was knocking how dirty the belt had gotten in comparison to the above photo.

Kaz saw the pics I took in-person. He gave me a story bout the match and confirmed Matt Hardy wasn't in the shape he needed to be.

Madison loved this photo and was cracking up at her facial expression.

This photo shocked ODB as the sig tells.

Hulk signed three (two promos and the photo op from the day before) for me. Flair signed two and I took one of the stack he had pre-signed, too.

Hogan was way more personable. Flair was just going through the motions it seemed.

Last but not least, my photos with Hogan and Hardy...

@nicole: As far as the X-Pac, nothing that seller has looks right to me. ... The Eddie doesn't look right either. I've never seen an auto of his that looked like the one on that card. There are a handful of legit Eddie items on ebay, most of which are with the Latino Heat incription and a few of which are older ones from the WCW days.

You would be wrong if you said that Xpac is fake, I've got that same card signed and the signature is pretty straight all the way down to it's placement on the card, and mine was done in person over a year ago. That card and that signature are both legit.

As far as the Eddie one goes, most grading companies won't slab any card that is autographed that doesn't pass PSA/DNA authentication, and the ones that do grade them at a 5 or less if it turns up to be fake. That one is slabbed AND a grade 8. As a collector I would be confident in making a play for that card, and as a matter of fact I will be making a play for it actually.

Just looked at the other stuff he is selling (forgot to do it the first time lol) and your right I forgot this person is known for selling fakes this is the same person I posted had fakes a while back lol my bad.
As for Eddie thats why I posted it here cuz I mean I really don't have a clue guess I'll keep looking in hopes of getting him.

His Angelina Love autographs are straight, but the Tara and Velvet ones are suspect. The Xpac signature is pretty straight as well, but my issue is with the seller. I purchased an event used card from him back on the first week of March of Ken Kennedy and he set the notification on ebay that the item was sent. Two weeks go by and nothing, I message him to find out what the deal is and he says he will look into it. A week later I message him again, this time he doesn't get back to me until this past Monday saying that it was Returned To Sender. The funny thing is I purchased a few things on April 2nd that were in my mailbox within plenty of time for the Lockdown trip last Wednesday. I'm not saying as a seller he's on the up & up, but the signature on some of his stuff looks authentic. At the same time as I mentioned he has a few that I'm not liking at all.
