Hey!

I'd like to know how much important is a stamp on the left on IRC? Cause on the post office they said me that I have to stamp it the same day I send it out.But when I sent out things last year I got back letter as RTS so that means that I can't use this IRC anymore???? And is it important that IRC is stamped? If it's,why? I don't understand this!
Thank you in advance ;)
xx ursha

Hi ursha :D

IRC's are normally stamped in the box on the left hand side where the initials for your country are. It's not necessarily compulsory (it's optional according the the Universal Postal Union), but I would suggest when you purchase them that you do get them stamped just to be sure.

Many post offices do accept unstamped IRC's, including the USPS (USA), so I don't think you'll have too much of a problem if you have already sent unstamped IRC's.

IRC's do not need to be stamped on the same day they're sent out. As long as they're stamped, they can be sent out whenever you wish. The stamp just indicates the day/place it was purchased.

If you received a letter back as RTS, I would assume your IRC is still in the envelope? You can just take it out and send it with a new request.

Hope that helped.
