Silver Sharpies.

Post by Gomez1234 »

I’ve got some comic books I’m going to send out. They all have dark covers and would look best if they were signed with a silver Sharpie. Do you ever send a pin with your photos or just trust the celebrity to use silver? I would think most of them expect this occasionally and have some silvers sitting around just in case.

Also, in my limited experience, it seems silver is more likely to smear than black. Has anyone ever tried any kind of fixative to keep it from smearing?

I sent a silver one out before for them to use and they used it and sent it back, and I just sent it out again for another. I don't see why they would mind, and there is always a chance they don't have one and you would get a signature that is black on black and hard to see! I just toss it in the envelope and not mention it in the letter or make it sound like I am needy or demanding.
