Sending to one member in a band

Hello! I was just wondering if anyone has sent to ONE member of a band vv, and what have the results been? I was thinking of doing these:
1. Sending a letter to just one member of the band (Gwen Stefani of "No Doubt")
2. Sending a letter and pic to the Black Eyed Peas, and also a pic of just Fergie as well

well sorry but if you some times only ask for one person i the band the will not send back because the feel that there friends are being left out so just say the example well black eye peas.
as well say your name and age or a story because the might not just sign it the will write back.. to the story
as well thank them one or twice so the know you are very happy and give them around 5 -8 m 0r then start to lose hope but i did get a autograph after 1 year so thanks for reading
