Does the post allow you to send envelopes made from magazines, as long as there is a stamp and postal address?

i know you can do it in the uk as long as you can see the stamp and white lable on the front to address, not sure bout in australia tho?? i suppose you could, because you can get envalopes with pictures all over it and a white space for the address.
