So this is going to sound stupid...(about SASEs)
But who cares! Anyway, I DO know what an SASE is, but I read somewhere that you should send at least and A4 sized envelope. But if I'm sending my letter in an A4 sized envelope, how does that work? Should I fold it up or something?

Yes, just fold up your SASE. That's what I do to pretty much all of my SASEs

I use the cheap A5 pound-shop brown envelopes, there and back, and fold them.
I have got A4 envelopes back from people like the Harry Potter cast and Rowan Atkinson etc, so a lot of celebs probably do send bigger ones back if they need to.
£1 for 50 envelopes, can't really beat that
