Bryan Cranston, American actor ("Breaking Bad," "Argo")

I wrote to Mr. Cranston via the play, "All the Way" on February 4, 2014. I sent a LOR, photo, and SASE. On March 24, 2014, I received a different signed photo, along with my original photo not signed. He was even kind enough to use a piece of cardboard and an extra stamp.

Though I think there is a pretty good chance that it is pre-signed, I am still very happy. He is a fantastic actor, having been part of some of my favorite shows ("The Office," "30 Rock," "King of Queens," "SNL," "Family Guy," etc.), and of course the excellent "Breaking Bad."

What do you guys think: authentic, pre-signed, pre-print, autopen? I'm happy either way. Thanks Mr. Cranston!

I received the same thing today and unfortunately it is an auto-pen. I also wrote to him during the filming of the last season of "Breaking Bad" and received the identical photo/signature (just in a slightly different spot). Now I have two of them!

That's too bad, I thought I was being clever by writing to him via the play. I've seen quite a few from him on Google that appear to be authentic, and usually very nicely personalized. Oh, well, no harm in trying. Thanks for confirming what I suspected. Maybe some people have had some in person successes at the play.

Thanks for sharing your experience. I was planning to write to him at the play since the address is on their website and Facebook page. Sorry to hear that it's AP but it's a nice photo though. ^_^'

Isn't it just a preprint? SFM only does preprints as far as I know. They don't have machines for APs.

That must be new! Back in the day I never saw AP for SFM. I don't get SFM now so I didn't know they sent APs.

It's an AP on a standard photo though, so it's basically the same as PP
