New York, NY 10036
I sent my letter of request and self-addressed stamped envelope on July 14, 2009.
I received a playbill signed by the cast on July 27, 2009. Autographs include: Hope Davis, James Gandolfini (twice?), Marcia Gay Harden
, and one that I cannot make out.
Overall, I waited 13 days.

the signature you can't make out is jeff daniels (dumb & dumber, arachnophobia, the squid and the whale, etc.). i know you didn't ask, but i thought i'd let you know...

And for anyone reading this, regarding the address' validity:
"God of Carnage" was originally a limited engagement which was supposed to close the 19th of July, but extended to the 26th; it sold so well that the foloowing has happened!: Due to someone's in the cast previous contractual agreement (I Don't know/remember who!), the producers have worked out a deal with the cast where they have off for 6 weeks - from July 27 to Tuesday, September 8.
You can continue to send fanmail to this address, as it is valid through November 15, 2009. Since they are on a 6-week break, he obviously has time to go through his fanmail. KEEP IN MIND, HOWEVER, that any mail sent to this address MORE THAN LIKELY won't get picked up by Mr Gandolfini or ANYONE in the cast until SEPTEMBER 8th-ish.
Again, you can write, but you more than likely won't get a response with this slew of other people. So you can either wait until closer to September 8th, or send now, but if you send now there is a better chance of it getting lost backstage! (Presuming / I assume he won't be going to the theatre every day / if at all until September.)
