I'm very sorry to hear about your great uncle. But look on the bright side, he is in a better place now. He's not suffering from Alzheimer's Disease anymore.
I know from personal experience that Alzheimer's is a terrible thing to get. My grandma died in May from the disease. She was literaly died in my and mine and my dad's arms.
I know that it may seem hard now, and it will be that way for a while. All you can do is mourn for now, then when the time comes, move on with your life. You can't dwell on it forever. When my grandma died I was sad for weeks. But I eventually got over it and went on with my life.
Just take your time, and after a while, it won't be as painful. Trust me I know. For now, just take it one day at a time.
Again, I'm sorry for your loss.
