Signature image cap

I know this site has a rule on image sizes, but it is not enforced by a cap like text is (ie the system stops you posting more than 1000 characters).

Could we please have the same for images?

Rules are rules and large images spoil the layout of the forum.

I agree, the size of some of the photos put up with sigs on here are absolutely ridiculous.

This is the reason why I block sigs on this forum. Some images just take up too much space and slows down loading.

Is partly why I changed my signature, I realised if big images bugged me then my text even with the cap might bug others! So I just have requests out listed not latest recieved as I did.

Mods can't do a thing about this, and I doubt the admin will bother. Blocking sigs is what I do, it makes everything run faster, smoother and more organized.
