Do people actually like the Jonas Brothers?

I am a huge fan of them and I do not like Jonas hate. I know you're not hating on them but please don't in the future. They get enough hate from people on YouTube.

I have only heard S.O.S, living in the UK I cant see what all the fuss is about them, every forum I go on people are talking about them. Difinately not to my musical tastes but each to their own lol

At least the bands I like haven't become as big because of the Disney Channel

I'm a 15 year old boy, and while they do annoy me sometimes (like their appearance on Hannah Montana that I watched with my little sister), I don't hate them. They seem like they're genuine, and they are talented musicians...Well, Nick is, at least. But when they're put into comparison with Miley Cyrus, I LLLOOOVVVEEE them. I absolutely can't stand her. In fact, I've even made up a few mathematical statements for you all:

Jonas Brothers = decent
Miley Cyrus = DISGUSTING
Jonas Brothers > Miley Cyrus

The Jonas Brothers are first and foremost musicians. At least they aren't like Vanessa Hudgens or Ashley Tisdale or Hillary Duff (and countless others), who are "musicians" because they were on a TV show or movie on the Disney Channel.

You're so right. They don't care about their acting careers just one bit. (That was sarcasm)

What about "Camp Rock?" and the Documentary-type series their doing on them?
And there first real appearance into the public eye (as a whole) was through "Poor Unfortunate Souls" on Disney Channel during a special airing of The Little Mermaid. And as for Nick, Nick was pretty well thought to have a Broadway career (He has a Christmas song in which he sang with the Broadway company of Beauty and the Beast when he was Chip), and Disney has been with him since about 2001. Not to mention, he was selected out of a bunch of kids to be the final Gavoroche in Les Miserables on Broadway.

Hilary Duff never was in a musical movie? She was never fully sponsored by Disney Channel (who probably hates her), only used it as a promotional/advertising tool.

And I'm in no way a fan of Vanessa Hudgens, and have some slight respect for Ashley Tisdale, but they did atleast do 8 shows a week for a few months with the High School Musical concert tour, which sparked the national tour of the stage show. So credit is due there, even those V.Hudgens doesn't really qualify in my book as a great talent.

i used to despise them but now i think they are okay.
i absolutely love love love Kevin because i believe he is the most talented one in the group. He plays main guitar and he never gets noticed and he never gets to sing which is what i hate. people hate on him for no apparent reason and if they have a reason its because "He's Old" or "Hes Ugly" (which both are not true).

but what i really hate is how they became so popular so fast. 90% of their fanbase are people who liked them after 'SOS' and only 10% actually liked them when the first started.
i am one of those 10%.

i also believe that most of their songs are way too overplayed and they are kinda overated.

dont get me wrong i like them. my favorite song is 'Mandy'. but those are just some of the stuff that bugs mee.
