Clyde Drexler Success! (Nba) (Houston Rockets)

I have to say sometime early in 2014, so last NBA season i sent out a package to both James Harden and Cylde Drexler. Harden is a current player and Drexler is a former player and current broadcaster for the team. I sent both in the same package, but in separate envelopes and with separate return envelopes etc. I sent out a LOR, Stamp, envelope and card to both. Today, 1/14/15 I received an envelope back with my card signed by Mr. Clyde Drexler. I am so happy and as a Rocket Fan, he is a legend and Hall of famer. Only bad thing is that he signed it a black sharpie and since the color of the card was also dark its tough to see his last name. As im opening the letter, i see note written on the back telling me "you've got to send it back to "The Beard." Im not sure who wrote it, but i thought it was cool, maybe Cylde Drexler wrote it, who knows. I will be sending my other card back for sure.

Hey Rockets' fan... have you tried to get Kevin McHale's autograph?? Some say he signs... That is funny they wrote about The Beard... And here I thought that "The Beard" was Brain Wilson of Dodgers - Giants fame.. I will give Drexler a try..thanks for the info...

Great success, Anthony. I love the "Beard" inscription on the back. Looking at comparable letters, my guess is that Drexler wrote it. Very cool.

I am going to send to Coach McHale at some point and to some other players like Ariza and Beverly. I have their cards already. Its Drexler wrote that note that is so cool.

If any of you Rockets fans are interested, I have this hand signed sheet from the 2011-2012 Houston Rockets team. I got this signed when the team was visiting Portland, OR and I stood outside the Hotel Monaco where there were staying and got almost every player on it. The only one who wouldn't sign it was Samuel Dalembert when he was on the team. This is signed by Kevin McHale and the list of players who are also on it pictured below. Make me an offer and if it's a good one, I'd be willing to let it go to a good home.
