On 11/21/2011, I sent a letter, card and SASE to Goose Gossage, Hall of Fame pitcher. I decided to send it to him since several people had successes with him. I received the card today 12/15/2011 signed with his HOF year. Great success! He was the first relief pitcher who became a serious closer and was so intimidating. I sent it to the address in the database.

Did not send a donation...no money whatsoever! That's why I was stoked to get this one signed.

Can you post a link when you list this on eBay?
Re: Goose Gossage success
Sorry, but I don't collect for Ebay. They are for my son and I. We love baseball and enjoy talking about the players whose signature we get.

How come everyone thinks the worst of people? You know, I'm gonna change my stance on this, just to see who I tick off. SELL YOUR BUTT OFF!!!! They make money off you, make your money off them. FREE ENTERPRISE! AMERICA! BE THE CAPITALISTIC PIG YOU ALWAYS WANTED TO BE. I buy some autographs on eBay, that are cheaper than what the celebrity (whos gotten a chunk of our money one way or another) charges and more often than not, on better material. I love buying a HOF signed OMLB baseball cheaper than what a new ball costs (I just got a PSA/DNA authenticated Bob Feller on a Bobby Brown ball for $5 and bought a game used team signed certified ball of the '82 St Louis Cardinals last month for $5). I'm all for people selling their autographs. Celebrities shouldn't care either especially when they usually charge for more than their worth. You can't get much for a signed card anyway. As far as people who don't charge... sell those too. If I was well off, I wouldn't care if someone sold mine. It's helping out my fellow American in these economic times. It's called sharing the wealth. What ruins a lot is greed. I have sold some of my things to obtain others that I wanted more. So, macainautos, chill out. Not everyone is out to make a buck.macainautos wrote:Can you post a link when you list this on eBay?

Really? I need to chill out? I was just making a sarcastic comment based on the OP's first post. You should relax...mrgoo1 wrote:How come everyone thinks the worst of people?
