Instead of wasting your time on the reply or on the postage, it is ALWAYS best to either get the autograph in person such as a movie premiere or through reliable dealers that are authenticated by JSA, PSA or Beckett. I certainly would want the real thing wouldn't you?

Agreed but it's fun to go to the mailbox and get that SASE back.
It's almost like Christmas morning over and over.
You go through lots of reprints, RTS, autopens, secretarials, etc. but it's still fun to get the response.

The sad thing is that some people think everything they get back is real - like this thread Robert Downey? Really? Bitch, please. You think he got within 1000 miles of this photo? Not. It's an autopen so therefore a fake. Reality check.

Agreed. I certainly would want to know if it's real or not. The ONLY way you'll get a Downey is if you get him face to face at a premiere or some other event. NEVER through the mail. MAYBE if you had the guy's personal address? People are so naïve.
