I posted this because she was one of my most wanted. This is a public forum, I'll post what success I want to post. I'm not gonna post a topic every time I get a reply because it takes too much time, but since Amanda was one of my most wanted, I thought I would... next time I won't bother!

Edit: and also, I'm not bothered about "hard to get" autographs - I only write to people I like; I couldn't care less about whether they're rare or not.

You're right, it's a heck of a struggle to upload everything. I can't imagine how I would cope if I got less than the 30 odd a week I get back.

I used to upload every success I got, but then it started taking too long its more time consuming than you'd think, especially when you've got a few to upload 30 odd a week - that's impressive!

I tend to pick and choose what goes on now, even on my blog. It's impossible to do them all, so I pick the standouts. Though lately, not been on so much as I locked myself out of the old account. Helpful.

ahh yeah forgetting a password cant be the best idea to be honest yeah, I upload all of my successes to my website, but don't have the time to write about how I got them etc on here everytime I receive a reply! I only upload them to my website once a week too

I really want to send to her as well. What kind of stamps did you put on the envelope? I've seen packs of 'Worldwide' stamps which are purple which come with 'by air mail' stamps too. Do you think one of each of these is correct as I've never sent abroad before lol.

If you are in UK, just take the letter to the post office, weigh it and they'll stamp it accordingly. Simples

The other bit... don't presume that a celeb will pay return postage when it is SO easy for you to pop a couple of dollar notes in with your request in lieu of stamps. None of us has the right to expect someone else to pay for them to do us a favour, and the least you can do is make the offer of covering the costs like that.

Take your request to the post office; they will weigh it for you and tell you how much it will cost. They will sort it out for you. My request cost me £4.50 to send to Amanda

As for Amanda paying return, I've seen a lot successes where she does, BUT I wouldn't just assume she will. If you can, try and get $2 and send that as a donation, or if not, explain in your letter that it's your first time sending to America so you don't know how to get return.
