Just thought i would bring this up as a warning to people who frequent some of the events here in hollywood.
Be very weary of a "FAN" here that frequents kimmel,leno, and various movie premieres here in L.A.
who offers to do a one for one type situation with your own photos. the person usually offers to help you get stuff signed, if he notices you have several photos with the old one for one thing.
basicly (well call him "A") will offer to do a one for one but unlike most people that do one for ones, where if the signer doesnt sign or doesnt get both signed and you get both your pics back, "A" has been asking that even if he doesnt get the pictures signed he will keep one anyway. then what he turns around does is if he gets only one signed he will give back the one he didnt get signed, keep the one he got signed and tell the person oh i am sorry i didnt get either photo signed. if the person asks to see the photo he claims hes allready put it away and is to much work to take out of his bag or if you didnt see him till several days latter that its in his car.
And since the person agreed that "A" would get to keep a photo even if he didnt get any signatures, "A" walks away with a signed photo that he lied about getting signed in the first place.

well "A" was found out last week while we were all over at kimmel, he had been caught doing it red handed by some of the regulars there.

I know some of you on here dont think to highly of me but its wrong when a collector scams another collector out of a autographed photo. and I just wanted to post a warning about the dangers in doing a 1 for 1 trade out. I am not naming his name,i am sure the others on here who frequent kimmel know who it is especially if they were there last week when it went down. the dudes been doing this for a few months now apparently but was just found out last week doing it to more than one person on the same day. to people who he acted like he was friends with on top of that.

UPDATE: aparently he also has told fellow collectors hes been helping oh iam sorry i lost your photo in the crowd and then turned around and kept the supposedly lost supposedly unsigned photo

Iam not going to post his name, as iam not sure that would be permited by forum rules.
But Ill give you a clue hes always at the front of the line, and seems to think he is some sort of den mother to the other collectors who hang out there. and is a fan of getting 4x6 photos signed when no one has any extra photos to do a 1for1 with him.(the 4x6 photos should be the most obvious clue as he is the only person out their who gets 4x6 photos signed.) oh and my calling him "A" in my original post is another big clue.

I get my 4 x 6 signed.... I am only 18 though

yeah but you also dont go around offering to do 1 for1 with people, or mysteriously loose their pictures either like CB/Angel does.

tell that to 99 percent of the people who go there(lol), I dont go out their every day(cause of school,and since i drive up from Long Beach) but i do admit to going out 2 once in while 3 days a week(iam actually out here now waiting, passing the time surfing the net on my phone), but there are some like CB who go out everysingle day camping out from early afternoon on.
no matter what your opinon about regular collectors out their, there is no reason for someone to purposely go out of their way to scam fellow collectors.(especially those that he calls friends on top of that.)
next time he does it, I for one plan to walk over to the off duty cop that JKL hires for security and bringing it to his attention so maybe they can ban him (if not more since he is stealing)from standing back there like they did with redbull at the start of the year.
