Either way, the current deficit and it's beginnings can be traced back to one seminal decision... Which was to Fight Two Wars without having a way to pay for them which at any other time in American History would correlate directly with raised taxes...
But no, in a time of War... President Bush decided it was a good time to cut taxes...
At no other time in American History would such a illogical act even be feasible... And we will be paying for it for a long long time.
You cannot fight Wars and Lower Taxes... The mere concept is both irresponsible and sheer lunacy.

BTW, my comment really wasn't about Bush or Obama... But rather the Economic Realities of Fighting a War. You can't fight them and not pay for them. In a time of War, you can't cut taxes, in fact you must raise them. That's not a Political Statement. That is a reality, like the Sky is Blue or Grass is Green... It's not a debateable theory... It's Proven. Like 2+2=4. There's no way around it...
And you're seeing the affects of not adhearing to that reality... We will be paying for those Wars, with incredible interest, for a very very long time...
