Do not send more than about 3-4 DAYS before the Preview date (which I list as the "Coming" date, if not yet open), as productions may not be in the theatre yet, meaning your letter could get lost or not delivered!

Generally, they don't sign anything non-play related AT THE STAGEDOOR. Through the mail you are usually fine. Typically, when writing to a Broadway actor/actress, you are to request a Playbill or Headshot, but assuming she would sign the stuff in other cases, I don't see why she wouldn't, but I'm no expert with Catherine.

I've seen plenty of people like Katie Holmes sign non-play stuff, as well as Angela Lansbury, so you should be fine!
