Can anyone give me full details on how to get an autograph?

I know there's a little paragraph on how to do it but I did it like that once and I think I might've screwed it up because I never got anything back.

I thought about just writing a letter and putting my address at the bottom of the letter but I wanted to ask here first.

How long ago did you send your letter? The main thing you need when collecting autographs is patience, and lot's of it in some cases. I sent letters to some people at the start of last year and never heard anything back and i've sent some to different people this year and heard back within weeks, it depends on the celeb and how busy they are, you also need to take into consideration if they are very famous it will take that bit longer at times. You should do a search here of the celeb you are writing to and see how long it has taken others to get a reply to give you a general idea.

Also if possible you should send an SASE with your letter.

I sent it almost a year and a half ago, so I'm sure I would've got it back by now.

Also, How does the SASE work? I never understood that.

You write your letter and put it in an envelope and address it to the celebrity, you also include a second envelope which has your name and address on it with stamps from the country the star is in, if you write to a star in the USA include US stamps on your SASE.

Who did you write to if you don't mind me asking? Have you checked have anyone on here has any success with that person?

Ah, thank you. I'm planning on writing Taylor Swift here shortly to sign something for me.
What size envelope would you reccomend and how many stamps?

I wrote my old favorite band Little Big Town, I'm pretty sure I did it just like it said but I didn't even get a RTS but other people have have got an autographed picture back

You're very welcome. I wrote to Taylor via a concert back in September and never heard anything back, but i'm going to try again via her 2 concerts in London later this month.

Are you sending to her via her management or via a concert? Where are you sending from? And will you be including your own photo's for her to sign? With this info we might be able to work out your postage costs.

Viv management, I never done venue.
I'm sending from georgia and I'm just sending one CD booklet.
