Hogan did used to sign authentically, he hasn't always used a ghost-signer. Plus, with it being a VV success, which I think he said, that makes me think it was just one of those quirky requests that slips through with good timing.
I disagree with you: Hogan has not been signing TTM. Definitely not in the last 15 years. If you have an authentic autograph signed by the Hulkster TTM, please post an image!
Many collectors (and fans) have received for years fake Hulk Hogan’s autographs via the following address,
no longer valid: 4505 Morella Ave., Valley Village, CA 91607. This was a valid address when Hogan wrestled for the WCW. They used to send out official WCW/nWo promotional photos with a fake Hogan signature. They also signed your own photos or cards sent there, so there has been an invasion of fake Hogan’s autographs on the market and, for years, that fake signature has been considered the Hogan’s authentic one!
The two cards that maxsoul9 posted have not been signed by Hulk Hogan.
The fact that the cards were autographed VV has nothing to do with the authenticity of the signatures: Hulk Hogan’s authentic autograph is different. The guy who signed the two cards partially took inspiration from the signature printed on the card, but he really did a bad work…

That's all, brother!
